Adult and Adolescent Day Treatment Program, New York City

Columbus Park Collaborative’s Day Program is our most concentrated therapeutic experience for adults and adolescents, providing a structured treatment program five days a week, for approximately six hours each day. The Day Program is dedicated to helping our patients attain weight, behavior and mood stabilization. Participants benefit from intensive group and individual therapy while maintaining ties to their everyday lives at home, facilitating a smooth and authentic transition to an autonomous lifestyle. Our Day Program is also ideal for individuals who have completed inpatient or residential treatment, as they may gradually reintegrate into life at home while reinforcing and augmenting strides made previously.

Between 9am and 2:30pm every weekday, patients participate in:

  • Four hours of group psychotherapy and skill-building
  • Experiential workshops including yoga, dance therapy, art therapy, and relaxation and mindfulness training
  • Two balanced meals and one snack, prepared by the CPC chef and foodservice team
  • Supportive therapy and processing after every eating experience
  • Comprehensive afternoon and evening planning sessions

Additionally, patients engage in the following services after Day Program hours:

  • Twice weekly individual psychotherapy
  • Once weekly family therapy
  • Weekly individual nutrition counseling and meal planning
  • Regular follow-up with our Adult or Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
